About
Brendan Acosta, PT, DPT.
Brendan is a Reno local who attended Our Lady of the Snows School and Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, graduating in 2009. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of San Diego in 2014. After sustaining multiple skiing injuries which were successfully treated with physical therapy, he developed an interest in manual physical therapy as a career choice to help others.
Brendan went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in May 2020. Since this time, he has been working in an outpatient manual physical therapy clinic here in Reno and treating a variety of clientele with orthopedic conditions and dysfunctions of the autonomic nervous system. Brendan has seen the effectiveness of manual therapy through treating these individuals as well as being treated. His hope is to continue providing manual physical therapy services to the local area and to give back to the community he grew up in so that others may return to what they love doing. Brendan enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing during the winter months, running, hiking, wake surfing, and spending time at Lake Almanor during the summer.
